Over 25 years ago I decided I wanted to start a career in mortgage lending, so I went to work for a large mortgage company in Sacramento CA. I started with an entry level position in the funding department and quickly worked my way up to becoming a loan officer within the company. Eventually I decided to move on to bigger and better things and for about the next 10 years I worked for one of the largest home builders in the nation as a preferred mortgage lender for new homes.

In 2007 I decided I wanted to make a move out of retail lending and get into the world of wholesale lending. I spent the next several years helping mortgage lenders and brokers structure and close their loans with the bank I worked for. I love problem solving and helping people achieve their goals which made this a great fit for me.

I have a passion for travel and scuba diving so whenever I could, I was finding somewhere tropical to go to and explore the beautiful underwater world. This brought me to Maui a lot. Eventually I decided to purchase a condo on Maui with the goal to rent it out and then have it ready for me when I retire one day. However, once I closed escrow I thought long and hard and decided, why wait until I retire, its time to live my dream. So, in 2014 I packed up my belongings and took the journey across the ocean to live on the beautiful island of Maui.

When I moved to Maui I took a little time away from the mortgage world, got my Real Estate license, and sold a few homes. However, I learned quickly there were a heck of a lot more Realtors on Maui than Loan Officers. I also realized that mortgage lending is my true passion, so I transitioned back into mortgage lending and opened my office in my favorite Maui town, Lahaina.

In 2023 everything changed. Our beautiful town of Old Lahaina was destroyed by a quick-moving wildfire which also took my office. My entire world changed that year and after serious consideration my husband and I decided it was time for a new chapter in life which brought us to sunny Florida.

We moved to Florida in January 2024, where I am enjoying growing my business while in the Sunshine State. I’m very fortunate to still spend part of the year on Maui as well and I love working with my clients across the country.
